My thoughts on The Castle gig, 12th November. We arrived, somewhat damp, to
catch the end of the sound check and in plenty of time to grab a burger (always
good at the Castle) before the band started proper. The audience wasnt the
biggest I've seen but enthusiastic nonetheless! The set kicked off with the
Immigrant Song followed by Black Dog, Heartbreaker, Thank You, Since Ive been
Loving You(sounded really good ) and Dazed and Confused (brilliant bow/guitar
solo from Glenn). About now everyone needed a loo break so Glenn (great to see
him again)did his Moby Dick. This was followed eventually by Going to California
(after tuning and Oli's search for the third stool) and Glenn's turn to visit
the loo! Stairway to Heaven was played earlier than usual as Sam had to leave
early and we were treated to an unusual version of The Ocean (thanks to drummer
Glen). Great versions of Kashmir, No Quarter, Good Times Bad Times and Whole
Lotta Love and we were calling for more. An encore of Rock & Roll saw Oli and
Glenn venturing out into the 'crowd'. As always a brilliant performance. The
band always give 100%. Hope I got the tracks right..beer was flowing freely. My
only criticism is I think the set would be greatly enhanced by In my time of
dying or Babe Im gonna leave you! Looking forward to the next time....and yes we
got back to the station just in time for the last train home. Chris Culley

I am 13 years old and i saw you at the con club in lewes a while ago. I really
loved you at that gig, your covers are fantastic!!! I am a massive zepplin fan
and i think your the closest thing possible the to the godlike guys that they
are!!!. I also want to mention that I really dont like stairway to heaven, it's
really long and boring and it's sooooooo overrated. I also know someone that it
is really good friends with actual jimmy page's daughter!!!! I also loved the
half hour drum solo you did (was your drummer wearing a wig????)!! so basicly i
thing you are awesome and i will definatly see you next time you play in
lewes!!! (please play in lewes again!!!) so that is my review, hope you liked
it. Euan. p.s. please write back! Euan

These guys headlined our festival in Gainsborough after only being together a
few weeks. They were sensational. You must book this new line up. Sounds like a
marriage made in heaven (or at least a stairway to it!) Not only great sounds
but real gents and as a sound tech, a pleasure to work with. Hope its not the
last time John

Looking forward to hearing the new guitarist, you've given me many a good memory
and taken me back to a time when Zep were gods and still are to me. See you at
Cambridge, if not before Barbara Osborne

I expected your drummer to perhaps die in a bizarre gardening accident or
something but not your guitar player to 'disappear'. Rock on Tommy

When I first went to see Led Zep too, I was just expecting to have a good time
with live music, beers and friends. But after the first 30sec of the first song
(which was Immigrant song), I knew I was gonna have a blast. 3h30 of live music,
sounded more than authentic. It blew me away! Thank you guys. I wish you
the best! Keep rocking! PS: Come play in France during summer and in
Kentucky during the year please Anais Hamel
